Here's my new booth. I didnt get the chance to finish painting the crown molding and since this show was non juried, I have a bunch of clearance items as well as the high end art but I really love the new booth. My dad designed it for me:)

$1.1m Rene Magritte painting stolen

Armed Robbery at Museum

An artwork valued at $1.1m (£675,000) and entitled Olympia by the surrealist painter Rene Magritte has been stolen this morning during a daylight robbery at a museum in Belgium. The nude portrait was stolen from the artist's former home in Jette, a museum dedicated to Magritte's life and work.

Although entry to the museum is by appointment only, two armed men forced their way into the building and ordered staff to lie on the floor while they made off with the painting. No shots were fired. The painting depicts the painter's wife, Georgette, lying on her back with a shell on her stomach.

Hideaway Abstract Tropical Seascape by PMILLER

This is inspired by a trip to Cancun Mexico. At the ruins of Tulum there is a beautiful beach. My mind began to wonder while looking at it. Wouldn't it be fun if few knew of this beach and you could shed your suit then frolick all day in the waves?
