Framed Original Painting

Framed Original Painting

I'm testing a new way to post on blogger with my newest figure painting "Birds of a Feather". I love the details in thier headdresses, the movement in the silver white clouds, and the cliffs with the copper metalics.

Hideaway Abstract Tropical Seascape by PMILLER

This is inspired by a trip to Cancun Mexico. At the ruins of Tulum there is a beautiful beach. My mind began to wonder while looking at it. Wouldn't it be fun if few knew of this beach and you could shed your suit then frolick all day in the waves?

Figure Painting Bridge Across Time

This whimsical figure painting features a girl cliffside gazing at a golden bridge. The framed original painting is done in an abstract impressionism style with the figure done in cubism. Miller's signature metallic acrylic paints and pigments make this lady a one of a kind.

Inspiration: Inspiration Series Collection - This series is inspired by Patrick, a young talented artist who was taken from this world at a tender age. His family asked Pam to create a series based on his sketches. In the beginning of her inspiration series, she combined her love of science with elements from his sketches. However, Patrick favored very traditional cubism with geometric twists and simple surreal landscapes and Pam quickly began to pull away making the series more her own. She uses two approaches to the paintings in this series. One is impressionistic landscapes with her own brand of figures in a cubism style. The second is using her cubism figures in a very futuristic surreal landscape with swirls and strange moons. All of her paintings are ready to hang. She uses quality framing and mats for this series. If you wish to purchase the piece without the framing, please contact us for a price quote.

MD Events Miller Modern Art at Stonefence Gardens Arts & Crafts Festival

We are very pleased to announce that we will be doing the Stonefence Gardens Arts and Crafts Festival and hope that if you are looking for a fun way to spend a weekend, you'll join us and stop by the Miller Modern Art Booth to say hello.

The show is outdoors in a beautifully wooded area; the whole place has a Native American feel to it. There's a gift shop located on the property with a great deal of handmade goods- Stone Fence is known for their handmade crafts, specifically chainsaw carvings done by John.

Each year, they set up an outdoor grill with food (the best hamburgers around- my husband swears by this), pony rides for the kids, and music in addition to the show. This year the artists will be showing a variety of fine arts and crafts including jewelry, paintings, fine art prints, carvings, handmade woven baskets, hand-stretched Native American drums, sculpture artists, a blacksmith and art demonstrations.
